EDWARD "HOOT" GIBSON

EDWARD GIBSON, popularly known to the fans as "Hoot," was born in Tekamah, Nebraska, in 1892. His early career was as a cowboy, circus rider, actor and prize winner in scores of rodeos. He has a remarkable record behind him on the Universal lot. He was elevated from two-reel westerns to stardom in five-reel attractions about two years ago. He measures five feet, ten inches in height, weighs 160 pounds and has light hair and blue eyes. He married Helen Johnson, vaudeville actress, and recently became the father of Lois Charlotte Gibson
