| NORMA TALMADGE, ever since she was a child, was firmly convinced that no
other career could appeal to her as much as acting. Just out of High School,
she applied at the Vitagraph Studios for work. She was engaged, and played
odd hits. It was under the tutelage of Van Dyke Brooke that she blossomed
forth. Shortly after she attained success, Norma became the wife of Joseph
M. Schenck. She is now starred in a company under her own name. Dark brown
hair and eyes. Five feet, two inches in height. Weight 110 pounds. Was educated
