| Rex Ingram was born in Dublin, Ireland, and educated at St. Columbia's and
Trinity College. He early came to the United States and finished his education
at Yale where he studied art. For three years he assisted Lee Oscar Lawrie,
the famous sculptor. Later he left his chosen profession to act, write and
direct for the screen. Among numerous other screen productions he has made
three productions for Metro, "Shore Acres," "Hearts are Trumps,"
and "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." Mr. Ingram is of the
pure Irish type with black hair and grey-blue eyes and is five feet eleven
inches high. He served in the world war as a lieutenant in the British Royal
Flying Corps. |
